Terms of use

The rules for using raid, and what raid is and isn't.

Last updated 8 October 2026

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of raid (“we”) about your use of raid. By creating an account or using raid you accept them. If you don’t agree, don’t use raid.

2. Who can use raid

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must not be located in, or a resident of, a country or region where using a service like raid, or trading crypto assets, is prohibited, and you must not be on any sanctions list.
  • You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you, including tax.

3. What raid is

raid is software that lets you launch, trade and discuss tokens on the Stellar network, which is a public blockchain that raid does not control.

  • Launchpad: every token launched on raid starts on a bonding curve: a smart contract that sets its price from the supply sold. When a curve sells out, the token graduates to the Stellar DEX with its liquidity locked.
  • Trading: you trade against the token’s curve or, after graduation, on the Stellar DEX.
  • Social: profiles, a feed, theses tied to positions, follows, leaderboards and copy alerts.

raid is not a bank, broker, exchange, custodian or investment adviser. We do not hold your funds, do not act on your behalf in any trade, and do not vouch for any token.

4. Your account and wallet

  • Wallet: when you create an account, a wallet is created for you through our wallet provider, Privy. You control it through your raid login; we never see its private key.
  • Keeping it safe: you are responsible for the security of your login email or Google or Apple account and your devices. We recommend turning on an authenticator app and passkeys in Settings.
  • Activity: you are responsible for everything done with your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.

5. Trading, launching and transfers

  • You confirm every transaction: raid shows the amount, price, fees and slippage before you confirm. Nothing is traded without your confirmation.
  • Final and irreversible: once a transaction is on the ledger it cannot be undone, by you or by us. Check addresses and amounts before you confirm a send or withdrawal.
  • Prices move: the price you see can change before your transaction lands; your slippage setting limits how far.
  • Contract rules: curves, graduation and locked liquidity work as the on-chain contracts define. We can’t change a transaction’s outcome.
  • No guarantee of liquidity: there may be no buyer when you want to sell, and a token may never graduate.

6. Fees

Trading on a curve, launching a token and graduation can carry fees set by the contracts, and every Stellar transaction pays a small network fee. The fees for a transaction are shown before you confirm it.

7. Copy alerts, theses and other content

  • No automatic trading: copying a trade only fills in the trade panel; you always review and confirm it yourself.
  • Opinions, not advice: theses, posts and leaderboards are other users’ views and results, not recommendations.
  • Your content: you are responsible for the tokens, names, images and posts you publish, and you give us permission to show them in raid. Don’t publish anything unlawful, misleading, infringing or that impersonates someone.
  • Moderation: we may hide content or tokens from raid’s interface. We cannot remove anything from the Stellar ledger.

8. What you must not do

  • manipulate markets, including wash trading, spoofing or coordinated pump-and-dump schemes;
  • launch tokens meant to mislead buyers, or impersonate other projects or people;
  • use raid for money laundering, sanctions evasion or other illegal activity;
  • interfere with raid, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or overload it with automated requests;
  • use another person’s account.

9. No investment advice

Nothing in raid is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Ownership facts such as creator holdings and holder concentration are shown as data, not as a judgement that a token is good or safe. Make your own decisions and only use money you can afford to lose.

Read the risk disclosure before you trade.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep raid running but don’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, pause or stop features. Your wallet and tokens exist on the Stellar ledger, independent of raid.

11. Disclaimers and liability

raid is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from market movements, the behaviour of tokens or their creators, smart contracts, the Stellar network, third-party services, or transactions you confirm, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid to raid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Ending your use

You can stop using raid and delete your account in Settings at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law. Either way, your wallet and on-chain assets remain on the ledger.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator of raid is established.

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app, and continuing to use raid means you accept it.
